CropInsurance.co.nz exists to make specialist crop insurance accessible to all New Zealand growers — from large commercial kiwifruit orchards to smaller vegetable growing operations. We believe every grower deserves access to expert insurance advice without the complexity and cost of navigating the market alone.
How We Work
We connect NZ growers with a network of specialist rural insurance advisers who understand crop-specific risks, NZ growing regions, and the products available from all major insurers. Our advisers approach FMG, AJG Gallagher, Aon, Farmcover, and specialist international markets on your behalf — providing genuinely comparative advice.
Our service is free to growers. Advisers are remunerated by insurers through standard brokerage arrangements. This means you receive independent, expert advice at no direct cost.
Our Regulatory Position
CropInsurance.co.nz is a trading style of Cover4You. Our partner advisers operate under licences issued under the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 (FMCA) and are regulated by the Financial Markets Authority (FMA). We adhere to the Insurance Council of New Zealand's (ICNZ) Fair Insurance Code standards of practice.
